the Sadlands project is starting to move again!! We’ve been talking with our friends at the ACF (Anaheim Community Foundation) about our next steps to getting Sadlands built. We are encouraged by the talent on their team, stoked that they believe in our vision and appreciate their guidance.

I will be speaking at a city council meeting in March to remind our councilwoman Denise Barnes about our goal and to introduce our Foundation to the new mayor of Anaheim, Harry Sidhu.

we’ve also started working with local SoCal skate park designer Spohn Ranch on creating renderings to help us start visualizing what the new Sadlands.

we will be moving into fundraising mode soon too! we could use all the help anyone wants to contribute…

  1. Please make this happen. I have fond memories of Sadlands. I skated it back in ’88. Had my mother drive me from South Gate because I was too young to drive or figure out the bus system.

  2. Hi Nic – we are still working on getting it done. We want to skate Sadlands again too. I’m working on updating the site and getting this thing moving again. Sorry its so slow going. In the meantime, we got a lot of good spots to skate in SoCal! Not like back in 1988. ~ tonto
